This Carménère is full of varietal character. A very soft mid palate with juicy blackcurrant fruit dusted with complex aromas of spices and red paprika!
This wine has a very intense, bright violet color. Elegant ripe tannins lend a lush and velvety palate with a rich texture and long pleasant finish full of red fruits and some spicy notes. A medium-bodied juicy wine with a nice acidity. This wine is ready to drink now. The harvest was made in May, as Carménère is the last variety to be harvested in the Central Valley. This is the only way to achieve the sweet fruit and soft herbal notes that Carménère is known for, with fully ripe tannins and phenols. Malolactic fermentation took place naturally in stainless steel tanks at 20 – 22°C avoiding the use of wood to enhance its fruitiness.
