Our Syrah comes from the Elqui Valley. Its semi-arid climate, moderated by a cooling breeze from the Pacific Ocean, provides a great environment for a cold weather Syrah. This region is known for having one of the clearest skies in the world, which brings a very intense luminosity during the day, helping the vines on a more efficient photosynthetic process. After the press, the wine did its natural malolactic fermentation. 25% of the wine was racked into new French and American oak barrels for 5-6 months, while the rest of the wine was kept in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruity aromas and the unique character of this region. The wine was bottled without filtering in order to preserve all its aromas. This wine shows black fruit and hints of tar. The structure is very well balanced with the softness of the tannins. An elegant wine with a unique personality.
